Singer songwriter Talibah Safiya will host a teen creative writing and music industry workshop on October 25 from 4:00pm-5:30pm at the Orange Mound Library.
Safiya, who hails from Orange Mound, will teach teens about the many career paths in the music industry and how to pursue them through writing.
She will end the workshop by leading teens in a writing session using the same format networks like HBO, Raedio (Issa Rae’s Production company) and Starz use to create soundtracks for their shows.
