Tommy and Riley were in a horrible motorcycle accident that could have easily taken both of their lives.
An angel was with them that day,
both of them were rushed to trauma.
Tommy was rushed to trauma icu went into emergency surgery for 5 hrs tore his main artery in his leg and if they couldn’t fix that they was going to take his leg off. that happened when he broke his femur which exited through his thigh and I also broke his fibula and tibula below the knee. He lost a lot of blood but now after 13-15 hrs total surgery and skin grafts. Tommy's other knee Is still waiting on the MRI results.
Asfore his left leg he cannot put any weight on it for 6-8 weeks and is going to be in a wheel chair for a while.
also when they fixed his artery they held his bone from moving with what they call an x fix (metal poking out of his leg.)
6 months at the least for recovery for Tommy.
Riley has a severe concussion causing vertigo, broken collarbone, pelvis fractured in multiple spots, and a fractured spine. They haven’t given her a set recovery time. She will have several follow up appts coming up and is currently using a wheelchair to get around.
Her recovery time could also take up to 6 months
Currently standing/trying to walk makes her super dizzy causing blackouts and vomiting.
Tommy and Riley will both be out of work for a while. They need friends, family, and the community to come together to help them with bills and everyday expenses.
