About this Event
THE SHOW
My wife and I spent the first day of his our Honeymoon at the 9/11 museum, and I can't wait to tell you all about it.
You might think a trip to the 9/11 museum isn't great inspiration for comedy, and that's why I'm performing at this festival and you're not.
Returning to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the 4th time, come and see an hour of the signature dark and dry comedy that has earned Tom Witcombe a huge following online and around the country.
If you're a fan of Anthony Jeselnik, Frankie Boyle, Ricky Gervais or Jimmy Carr, come see the closest Australia has to offer.
BIO
Sydney comedian Tom Witcombe has achieved a lot in his short time in the entertainment industry: a self-produced YouTube special with over 100k views, a wildly successful podcast and a committed social media following, all the while headlining shows across the country.
But Tom is showing no signs of slowing down, his 2024 Festival Show ‘White Collar/Dark Jokes’ enjoyed sell out crowds at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals, with the demand prompting him to expand his tour in 2025 to cover even more of the nation.
In addition to performing his own shows and headlining professional rooms country-wide, Tom has opened for Australian comedians Daniel Muggleton, Frenchy, Amos Gill and Andrew Hamitlon and co-hosts the Flog Cabin podcast.
