Doors open 6pm –
Food and Beverage by – Ancaster’s own Microbrewery - Brewers Blackbird. Please join us for dinner as on hand will be Brewers own famous Taco's and Smash Burgers. Come early get your seats and bring your friends.
7pm – 7:30 – Video Presentation – History of the Mineral Springs of Ancaster - A special video presentation of the History and Rebuild of our local Sulphur Spring.
7:30 – 8:00 – Drumming Circle led by Josaphine Lavalley
I am very pleased to announce that Josephine Lavalley will be our special guest at our Spring Equinox event and she will lead us in healing and knowledge with a drumming circle, that will be presented from 7:30 to 8pm.
Drumming in circles supports values of equality, autonomy, inclusivity and freedom of expression, and this is how we met Josaphine, she has been a supporter of our local wells, and we met her singing and drumming at the Ancaster Wells.
It was through this love and respect for our local water source that we came to know Josaphine, and in doing it has brought our awareness to the ongoing issues around water at our neighbors at 6Nations as reported by the CBC

Tom Wilson is a Canadian musician, author and visual artist. Wilson’s memoir, Beautiful Scars published by Penguin/Random House has become a national bestseller. The memoir has been adapted into a TVO Original documentary (directed by Shane Belcourt). More recently, Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius completed a successful run of Beautiful Scars, the musical adapted to the stage in collaboration with actor /writer Shaun Smyth.
Exposing incredible truths about Wilson’s biological family and Indigenous heritage, Beautiful Scars delves into the singer-songwriter’s lifetime quest to find himself and ultimately uncover his true identity as a Mohawk man.
