Get ready for our first ever full retail sale! The day after Christmas we are discounting all retail sales (books, bottles "to-go", gifts, etc.) a full 30% in honor of Tom Wade's legacy in Hopkinsville.Who is Tom Wade? Well in case you don't know, Tom Wade was the proprietor and namesake of the legendary Tom Wade's Men's Store that was housed in our building from 1962 to 2000. Each year Tom would host an after Christmas sale that would draw hundreds to the streets of downtown Hopkinsville to wait in line for their chance to get a great deal on great clothing. So many locals have such fond memories of this specific sale, so we decided we had to continue on the tradition with his family's blessing.
While we are not able to offer quite as big a discount on our wares as Tom was, we are excited to be bringing our biggest sale day ever on the Friday following Christmas! All retail sales, which includes new and used books, retail bottles that are uncorked, all sidelines, merchandise, and gift-ables, will be marked down 30%! Wine by the glass, small plates, and other beverages will not be discounted.
We have never run a sale like this before so if you would like more large scale sales in the future, make plans to join us! As a thank you for your support all year long, we will be providing a "spin for a coupon" to be used at a later date for all purchasing guests on that day, and a free gift for every purchase over $100.
