TRB is an American rock band led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tom Relling. Born in Los Angeles and raised in St. Louis, Tom emerged on the San Francisco music scene in 2012, gaining recognition as bandleader and slide guitarist for “swamp-funk” outfit Hibbity Dibbity, who opened for acts like Vulfpeck, Robert Randolph, and The Family Stone, and performed at Bottlerock Festival in 2017.

Since then, Tom has built a reputation as a prolific recording artist, releasing music through multiple projects—including proto-metal trio TONG, psych-folk moniker Holographic Flower, and collaborations with Bay Area artists like country songwriter Eric Long, funk-rockers Sweet Plot, and bluegrass group Late for the Train. He’s also a touring member of San Francisco rock mainstays The Stone Foxes.

Tom formed TRB with Alex Dang-Lozano (drums), Will Durkee (bass, vocals), and Eric Long (pedal steel), touring California extensively in 2022–23 and developing a high-energy, vintage-inspired rock show. With the release of TRB’s self-titled album in 2022, Tom sharpened his throwback sound—taking cues from songwriters like Marshall Crenshaw and Rockpile-era Nick Lowe.

Their latest release, Long Time Later (2024), is a cohesive rock & roll statement, with Tom performing and recording all instruments himself. The album delivers poetry wrapped in thick guitars, loose and soulful vocals, and layered arrangements—a love letter to past icons and a spark for the next generation. Out now on Mover Records.
