Tom Lynch Artist Meet & Greet - The Galerie Building

Join us for our Meet the Artist session featuring Tom Lynch at the Galerie Building in LIC, Queens New York. Tom will be guiding the audience through his work and process in the lounge followed by an open discussion about his process and inspiration.

The “Book of Tea” installation was inspired by a series of teabag paintings originally created as Valentines for Tom’s wife. These small, delicate pieces were painted on dried and pressed used teabags, transforming humble materials into tiny meditations. To preserve and elevate these fragile drawings, Tom combined the teabag paintings with pages from discarded antique books, crafting unique compositions.

Tom Lynch is a seasoned artist and creative visionary with over three decades of experience in the world of design and illustration. After honing his skills at Parsons School of Design and under the tutelage of Master Illustrator David Passalacqua at the Passalacqua School of Illustration, Tom’s journey as an artist has been marked by an unwavering commitment to creativity and innovation. His work spans a wide range of mediums and disciplines, from graphic design and illustration to fine art, where his ability to convey deep narratives through visual form has garnered him acclaim.
