Tom From Myspace brings 2000s Night to Buffalo Iron Works on Saturday, December 5th with special guests Dad Vibes!
Tom From MySpace:
Born from nostalgia, eyeliner, and the glow of a computer screen at 2AM, Tom From Myspace is a 2000s emo cover band that revives the soundtrack of your teenage years. With a name paying homage to everyone’s first internet friend, the band embodies the era when status updates were cryptic lyrics, side-swept bangs ruled the scene, and every heartbreak had an acoustic version. Formed by former scene all-stars from Buffalo, NY, Tom From Myspace delivers high-energy live shows packed with the iconic anthems of bands like My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, and The Used. Their setlist is a time machine back to the days of Warped Tour summers, neon belts, and Sharpie-covered Converse.
The group’s mission is simple: keep the scene alive and give fans a place to scream along to the songs that once lived on their Myspace profiles.
Tom From Myspace turns every stage into your old Top 8 playlist. Loud, raw, and unapologetically emo.
For anyone who ever took mirror selfies with a digital camera, burned mix CDs for crushes, or felt “misunderstood” while blasting Hawthorne Heights in their bedroom, Tom From Myspace is here to remind you: the scene never died.
Dad Vibes:
Dad Vibes is a five-piece cover band from the greater Buffalo, NY area bringing the sound of ’90s and 2000s hard rock and nu-metal to the stage—with a heavy emphasis on the music that defined the 2000s. We played our name off the fact that the music we cover is now considered the new Dad Rock.
Dad Vibes is composed of five good friends who have been playing music together in various bands for over a decade, so we’ve got the chemistry, the experience, and probably way too many stories. What started as a love for the songs we grew up on has turned into a high-energy live show packed with big riffs, huge choruses, and plenty of nostalgia.
Our sets cover everything from the melodic hard rock of Breaking Benjamin and Stone Temple Pilots to the heavy, head-banging sounds of Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit, with plenty more ’90s and 2000s favorites mixed in.
Whether you’re looking to relive your angsty teenage years, scream along to songs you forgot you knew every word to, or just enjoy some seriously loud rock with a few friends, Dad Vibes has you covered.
We’re here to bring back the music, the energy, and the questionable fashion choices of an era that gave us some of the best rock music around.
Dad Vibes — Big riffs. Big nostalgia. Even bigger dad energy.
