But there’s more to Tom than his musical prowess. A fascinating journey led him to this stage. “I’ve been playing since college,” Tom shares, “where I was a lowly hand signaler on the football team. Then I played a year of semi-pro football for the Bologna Warriors in Italy. The experience of quarterbacking an Italian football team was pretty funny. I spent the next decade working on a movie about it.” Tom also honed his comedic talents at the prestigious Second City and other improv schools in Chicago, L.A., and New York. One of his sketches, where he hilariously portrayed the ghost of Telly Savalas in a lounge act, evolved into an off-Broadway show that ran for several years. Eventually, Tom returned to his first love: music, settling in Maine with his partner, Lauren, and sharing his extraordinary gifts with audiences far and wide.
