One of the UK’s most influential and acclaimed pianists over many years, award-winning with his piano trio Curio’s, and performing worldwide at major clubs, venues and festivals as well as working with many leading artists, notably Peter Gabriel and Gwyneth Herbert. A stunning and original improviser, Tom Cawley continues to break new ground with this new and wonderfully fluid and inventive mix of solo piano improvisation with live sampling and beat making. A dynamic and expressive pianist, Oktopus is a brand new solo project for Tom Cawley, the first album of which was released at the end of 2025, and we’re so excited to present it at The Lescar.
