Tom Arnold joined, by the Ellen Whyte Trio (http://www.ellenwhyte.com/index.htm), will perform songs from his latest 6 song EP “Love Is In the Eye”. The theme is love; in that context, the songs cross genres, including Caribbean, soft rock, jazz inflected pop, ragtime/early jazz and folk. The Ellen Whyte Trio will provide separate performances to begin and end the release party.
Tom Arnold began performing at the age of ten playing trumpet in concert and marching bands. As a singer/guitarist, he has performed at the Oregon State Fair, The Washington Convention Center, Far West Folk Alliance, Sublimity Harvest Festival, House Concerts and in two musicals at Pentacle Theater, Salem Oregon. As a singer/songwriter he has won national awards for EPs, individual songs, and local singer/songwriter awards. As a recording songwriter, he has released recordings in several genres, including country, dance/electronica, pop, rock, ballads and folk.
