Au microphone et à la guitare, le chanteur Patrick Kabré, étoile de sa génération au Burkina Faso, est maître de cérémonie de ce concert dansé. « Tolon kè! », c’est la célébration. « Réjouissons-nous », dit la langue dioula. Un bras levé, un pied au sol, c’est une invitation à ramer à la même cadence. Quatre interprètes du virtuose Faso Danse Théâtre délaissent la partition et improvisent avec nous. Et, comme sous influence, la foule palpite. Tout simplement irrésistible ! 🎶

Equipped with a mic and a guitar, singer Patrick Kabré—a star in his native Burkina Faso—will emcee this danced concert. “Tolon ké!”, meaning “let’s have fun” in the Dyula language, is an invitation to celebrate and move to a shared rhythm, arms raised, feet on the ground. Abandoning scripted choreography, four performers from the virtuoso Faso Danse Théâtre will improvise together, whipping the crowd into a frenzy. A simply irresistible performance! 🎶
