This Tuesday, we will be having the first academic talk of the semester! We will be meeting in 40 George Square, room 9.01 at 6pm.
Title: Drugs in Middle-Earth
Speaker: Vegard Ovland
Introduction: In this paper I will look at Middle-earth with the lens of an analytical chemist. And I will attempt to ascertain what drugs are present in J.R.R. Tolkien’s works. The paper will be presented in a popular science/ informal way.
