Together with Turtles! Free Children's Program (Recommended for Ages 3-5)

Join us foir the opportunity to meet our ambassador turtles! In this program, young learners will be introduced to the fascinating world of reptiles, and learn what an ambassador animal is. We'll learn about how reptiles are cared for, and explore the amazing adaptations of turtles!

We will meet in the lobby of the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park. This program is free to attend. Please note that there is an $8 vehicle fee in effect.

Reservations are required for all programs, each child needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
