About this Event
Join us for monthly upcycled art workshops designed for adults to create, reflect, and connect. Each workshop aligns with the seasons and lunar rhythms, using reclaimed and natural materials to keep creativity accessible and zero-waste.
Enjoy a beer or wine while you create—drink proceeds support Envision Charlotte. Soda and juice are also available, with proceeds supporting Change Please Coffee, a nonprofit helping individuals experiencing homelessness.
Inspired by the Full Worm Moon and lunar eclipse, this workshop invites participants to work with fabric scraps and reclaimed materials to reflect on release and renewal. Create simple painted or drawn symbols, lines, or abstract patterns representing what you’re letting go of from winter and what you’re preparing to grow.
Moon Reference: Full Worm Moon with Total Lunar Eclipse on March 3
What Happens: Participants choose fabric scraps and create a simple visual piece using paint or drawing tools. Artwork may include symbols, words, moons, or abstract marks representing what they are releasing from winter and what they are preparing to grow beneath the surface.
“The Worm Moon marks the soil waking up. What are you preparing beneath the surface?”
Supplies (Included): Fabric scraps, reclaimed paper, paint, markers, pencils
