TOGETHER FOR GAZA

On October 31st, Nour Foundation and Fragments of Palestine are organizing a special day in solidarity with the people of Palestine — from Gaza, the West Bank and the Palestinian diaspora.

A day filled with culture, dance, music, food and meeting one another, alongside an indoor market where authentic Palestinian products and goods will be available for sale.

Through this day, we want to show our solidarity with the people of Palestine, while also supporting those here who share their voices, talents and stories. We bring together culture, stories and talent, while creating a space to meet, connect, share and celebrate.

Together, we acknowledge what is happening there, but above all, we stand alongside the people affected, here and there.

14:00 — Market Opening

The afternoon begins with Nour el-Nono, founder of the Nour Foundation, opening our Palestinian market. Browse authentic products from the West Bank, including olive oil, dates, and ceramics from Fairtrade Palestine, alongside handmade accessories by Mary Ann Jaraisy. Get henna painting by Tahiera & Nazierah, and let your children enjoy our Kids Corner, where they can make bracelets, paint, and learn about Palestinian culture.

A short video will be shown during the market, highlighting the Nour Foundation's ongoing projects on the ground in Gaza.

Also a small photo exhibition (from private collection of Nour el-Nono and her family) highliting the differences of their life before and after the year 2023.

14:30–16:30 — Music & Shopping

DJ Shadow spins Arabic music while you shop, browse the market, and enjoy drinks at the bar.

16:30-16:50 — Stand-up comedy performance

Palestinian comedian Faris Issa Abusada will take the stage to remind us that 'joy is resistance'.

17:30–18:30 — Dabke Performance & Workshop

Watch a live demonstration of dabke, traditional Middle Eastern dance, followed by an interactive workshop led by Dabke Night — all welcome to join in.

19:00 — Palestinian Dinner

The evening closes with a traditional Palestinian dinner, prepared and served by Chef Nour, accompanied by music.

All market proceeds go directly to individual families and community projects in Gaza and the Occupied Territories. Proceeds from the dinner and pick-up boxes support Nour Foundation's work with Gaza's most vulnerable communities.

Nour Foundation (BE) and Stichting Fragments of Palestine (NL) were founded by Nour el-Nono and Lenka Pollak in 2025 after working together on ground projects in Gaza.

Nour Foundation relies entirely on donations raised through events like this, with 100% of all contributions going directly to Gaza, ensuring that support reaches families and communities who need it the most.

Stichting Fragments of Palestine works closely with Nour Foundation and supports projects in Gaza, but also Palestinians living in diaspora. We generate funds by selling Palestine Drinks (@palestinedrinks) en other related products, like merchandise.
