Rod Piazza’s boogie sound combines the styles of jump blues, West Coast blues and Chicago blues into an unforgettable performance. This accomplished blues musician's stratospheric harmonica wailing owes a heavy debt to both Little Walter and George "Harmonica" Smith. Rod Piazza is recognized all over the world as the ambassador of the blues harp.
Dennis Gruenling has been awarded the title of 'Best Modern Blues Harmonica Player' three years in a row by Real Blues magazine. With the Nick Moss Band featuring Dennis Gruenling, he won two Blues Music Awards for 'Band of the Year' and 'Traditional Blues Album of the Year' for Lucky Guy.
Together with RJ Mischo, these veteran harpists bring the Blues Harp Summit to Campus JAX in Newport Beach, a late afternoon delight at a true supper club with reserved seating and fine food.
