Toddler Feelings Class — 4 Fridays in September (Ages 3.5–5)
About this Event
Your kid has big feelings. This is where they learn what to do with them.
Four Friday afternoons, bring your little one to Academy Lane for an hour of guided play — the kind that quietly teaches a child how to handle a big feeling and how to be a good friend.
You don't have to plan anything. A trained early-childhood guide walks you through every step — the same little skills that make the hard moments easier. Naming a feeling out loud. Taking a breath instead of a swing. Waiting for a turn. Joining a game. Hearing "no" and staying okay. The building blocks of a kid who can regulate and connect.
What it looks like:
- Our gym: soft mats, cozy corners, room to move and settle
- Six families, max. Never a crowd.
- Zero screens. Zero tablets. Just your kid learning and you next to them.
- You stay the whole time — this is an hour with your kid, not a drop-off.
- One take-home idea each week you can actually use at home (yes, even mid-meltdown).
Why four classes, not one?
Emotional skills stick through repetition, not one big lesson. One class is a nice afternoon out. Four is where you start to see it — the pause before the tears, the "I'm mad!" instead of the hit, the first real friend. That's why August is a package, not a single ticket.
Not sure yet? Totally fair.
You might not know us yet — so enroll and try the first class, no strings. If it's not right for you and your kid, just tell us. We'll refund every dollar. No forms, no awkward conversation. Come see for yourself.
