Los Lupeños de San José (Lupeños) is proud to announce their 55th-anniversary showcase, Tocando Tierra, taking place on November 23 and 24 at the Mexican Heritage Plaza. This lively, jam-packed showcase displays culturally rich dance suites, sharing unique stories, and continuing the heartfelt tradition of Mexico’s diverse regions. Featured suites include the exciting debut of Danza de Migueles de Tzinacapan, Puebla, Son Huasteco Hidalguense, Carnaval Zoque-Coiteco, and many other surprises.
Each suite offers a captivating glimpse into the unique heritage of Mexico’s regional communities.
Tocando Tierra brings the vibrant energy of folklórico dance and the exciting traditional live sounds of Ensamble Folklorico de Veracruz, Madrigal Musical, and Mariachi Estelar to the stage, blending deep connections to the earth and cultural heritage with an unforgettable audience experience.
