Melbourne trumpeter Toby Mak was based in Shanghai for twenty years, establishing himself as one of the most in-demand trumpet players and jazz soloist on the Asian scene. He has performed alongside great international and Australian artists such as: Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chris Potter, Mark Turner, Theo Croker, Aaron Parks, Jaleel Shaw, Conrad Herwig, Lawrence Ku, Don Burrows, Allan Brown, Jamie Ohlers, Mark Fitzgibbon, Bob Sedergreen etc.
For this performance he will be joined by old enemies Danny Fischer- Drums and Craig Fermanis- Guitar, along with jazz bass boss Sam Anning for some hard swinging bop, standards and originals!
