The Australian Wine Society of Toronto is thrilled to invite you to celebrate the magic of the sun at our annual Summer Solstice Wine Dinner! Join us for an extraordinary evening that pairs the vibrant energy of the solstice with a meticulously crafted multi-course menu and a spectacular showcase of premium Australian viticulture.

From crisp, refreshing whites perfect for a summer evening to rare, aged cellared "Specials" (including the exceptional 2005 Pirramimma Cabernet Sauvignon), we have curated a selection that highlights the incredible depth, history, and diversity of Australia’s finest wine regions.

Kick off the longest day of the year with a vibrant selection of welcoming pours, perfectly paired with a delicious assortment of light canapés.

Your Choice Of:

  • Grilled Peach and Spinach Salad: Served with goat cheese, toasted pecans, maple roasted endive, and a tarragon dressing.
  • Shrimp and Avocado Salad: Accompanied by garlic mayo, toasted Schiacciata, tomato relish, pickled onions, and fresh arugula.

Wine Pairing: Wine Pairing: Yalumba Y Series Viognier (2018)



The Main Event

A decadent, beautifully prepared entrée crafted to perfectly complement our premium wine selection.

Your Choice Of:

  • Bacon Wrapped Beef Tenderloin: Served with roasted creamer potatoes, garlic spinach, heirloom tomatoes, and rich chive butter.
  • Pan Seared Pacific Cod: Accompanied by roasted corn, avocado, a lime and basil relish, creamer potatoes, and garlic aioli.

Wine Pairing: Byron & Harold Rose and Thorn Cabernet Sauvignon (2020), Mountadam "Five-Fifty" Chardonnay (2019) and Tahbilk Marsanne (2018)



The Grand Finale

Your Choice Of:

  • Lemon Tart: Served with raspberry sorbet and fresh mint cream.
  • Chocolate Tartufo: Rich, decadent, and served with fresh berries.

Beverage: Freshly brewed coffee and tea
