Join Tacoma Rising for our Toast to 2024 as we recognize the achievements throughout the year and look ahead to an exciting future for our city! This event will celebrate the impactful tours, events, and businesses that shaped Tacoma throughout the year. Then, we’ll dive into a dynamic discussion with some of Tacoma’s top landlords and brokers, where they’ll share insights on the latest trends in the office and retail markets. Hear how industry leaders are adapting to the evolving landscape, filling vacancies, and revitalizing Tacoma’s commercial spaces. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable strategies for the city’s continued growth and success!

3:30pm - 4:00pm Networking Session:
Enjoy a lively networking session and get to know the panelists. Enjoy light food and beverages in the newly designed Rhodes Center Atrium.
4:00pm - 4:10pm Opening Announcements & Introductions:
Hear from Reid Fetters on the businesses we were able to highlight throughout the year and a sneak peak of what is coming in 2025 for Tacoma Rising. Get an introduction to the panelists to set the stage for the discussion to come.
4:10pm – 4:55pm Panel #1 - Brokers:
Natalie Schiro, National Commercial Sales Executive for Chicago Title will lead a panel discussion with the leading office broker in Tacoma; Will Frame with Kidder Mathews and Harrison Laird from Lee & Associates. During this part of the discussion, they will discuss changes that they have noticed in the office market downtown. The conversation will then lead into how they are changing their strategies to fill vacancies with new trends.
4:55pm – 5:10pm Short Break
5:10pm – 5:55pm Panel #2 - Landlords:
Building on the brokers’ insights, this panel features leading landlords sharing their perspectives on future success in Tacoma’s commercial real estate sector. Reid Fetters will guide the conversation with Jeff Mincheff of J Squared Investments and Mike McClure from MJR Development, highlighting key strategies and opportunities shaping the market.

Street parking is available along Broadway and 11th street. You can also park in the Park Plaza North on Commerce Street just one block down the hill from the Rhodes Center.
