The Toad Pond gathering is an initiative hosted by Florence Forrest, the Society’s President, Communications Officer and Librarian.

The Toad Pond is a place to share, encourage and be stimulated by not only our local conversation in the Society but also by the wonderful wellsprings of interest in psyche taking place around the world. No experience is required, only curiosity and a friendly desire to be “in the room” for what might ferment with our coming together over coffee in a convivial environment.

GoMA cafe is accessed outside on the left side of the Gallery of Modern Art. There’s no need to go into the gallery itself. GoMA cafe has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating with a stunning view of the Brisbane River. A great brunch menu is available along with a selection of cakes and excellent coffee. Look for Toadalina, the Toad Pond mascot (soft toy), on our table.
