Build a home for one of Nebraska’s most helpful backyard neighbors! Join Nebraska Game and Parks & Sower Books for a hands-on Toad Abode Workshop where participants will create a simple shelter for frogs and toads to use as a cool, safe place to hide during the day.
Along the way, learn about Nebraska’s amphibian species, why they are important for healthy ecosystems, and how you can make your yard more wildlife-friendly. Participants will leave with a finished toad abode and ideas for creating habitat at home.
Workshop Date: Tuesday July 28
Workshop Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Workshop Location: Sower Books- Meadowlane Shopping Center (70th & Vine) Lincoln, NE
Perfect for gardeners, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone who loves helping local wildlife. All materials are provided.
