P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Benjamin Nathans to celebrate the release of his newest book, To the Success of Our Hopeless Cause: a gripping history of the Soviet dissident movement, which hastened the end of the USSR — and still provides a model of opposition in Putin’s Russia
Benjamin will be joined in conversation by Jennifer Wilson, contributing writer to The New Yorker. After the discussion and Q&A, Benjamin will be signing copies of To the Success of Our Hopeless Cause.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
is the author of , which was awarded the Koret Jewish Book Award, the Vucinich Book Prize, and the Lincoln Book Prize, and was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award in History. A frequent contributor to the and the , Nathans is the Alan Charles Kors Associate Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania.
