To The Left of Time: Remembering Thomas Lux

A self-described “literary oddball” Thomas Lux was known for his intimate analysis of the human experience captured in haunted yet comedic poetry collections. In recognition of his extensive writing career and impact on his students Lux was inducted into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in 2021.

Join family friends colleagues and admirers on Thursday May 30th at 7:00pm at Avid Bookshop for a special event in recognition of the life and legacy of Thomas Lux with readings of his work by Sandra Meek Seth Michelson Miller Oberman and Patrick Rosal. A light reception will follow and copies of Lux’s last work To the Left of Time will be available for purchase. Registration is required but there is no admission fee.
