Jetsetters!!! To Sergio With Love celebrates the singular artistry of Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66. With songs from the Beatles to Burt Bacharach, Jorge Ben to JJ Cale, cocktail parties around the world had his music on high rotation as Mendes released hit after hit, including Watch What Happens, The Look of Love, Chove Chuva, Pretty World, Fool On The Hill, and One Note Samba.
Featuring Anje West (The View From Madeleine's Couch), singing Sergio's hits in English as well as fluent Portuguese, Kym Ambrose is at the drum-kit, with the superb guitar work of Jamie Clark and piano of Peta Wilson taking centre-stage, and bassist Helen Russell also on backing vocals.
The band has sold out every concert and festival show they've played, so don't miss this welcome return to the BJC for a night of perfect nostalgia, and superb musicianship.
