Oyella is a Ugandan-born, London-based entrepreneur who’s dedicated to changing the way people see and understand migrant communities. As the founder of Lion Voices CIC, she’s on a mission to share the full spectrum of experiences that refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers bring with them - beyond the typical stories of pain and hardship.

Through storytelling and empowerment programs, Oyella highlights the resilience, strength, and resourcefulness that often come from overcoming immense challenges. Her work isn’t just about advocacy; it’s about creating a balanced narrative that celebrates the triumphs and rich contributions of these communities. By amplifying these voices, Oyella hopes to foster a society that values every story, building a world that’s more inclusive, empathetic, and deeply connected
