Two Shelters. Two Cities. One Shared Goal: Helping Homeless Pets!
The Vols and Longhorns may be facing off on the field, but this September, Young-Williams Animal Center and Austin Humane Society are teaming up for a friendly fundraising rivalry to help homeless pets!
Starting Monday, September 21, supporters in Knoxville and Austin will rally behind their team and local shelter to see who can raise the most for pets in need. Our campaign goal is $5,000, and every dollar donated to Young-Williams Animal Center stays right here in Knoxville to help local animals.
Then, Join Us on Game Day! The rivalry will culminate on Saturday, September 26, with a tailgate-style celebration featuring adoptable pets, games and activities, a live broadcast of the Tennessee vs. Texas game, and swag giveaways.
Whether you say “Go Vols!” or “Hook ’em Horns,” there’s one thing we can all agree on: homeless pets deserve a champion.
