TMU Annual Conference 2023

FORGING NEW PATHS

We are very excited to announce that the TMU annual conference 2023 will take place in Liverpool. As ever, registration for the conference is free.

The conference will take place all day in the University Central Teaching Laboratories on Thursday the 30th of March and the morning of Friday the 31st. The conference meal will be held on Thursday evening at The Maritime Museum on Liverpool's famous Albert Dock. For those arriving in Liverpool on the Wednesday, we will arrange an informal social gathering in the evening.

Topics featured will include technical career pathways, the ever-increasing career development options for technical managers and their teams, and a variety of workshops. We will also be holding a University of Liverpool Technical Showcase on the same day which conference delegates will be able to explore. More information about timetables and workshops will be circulated nearer the event.

When booking, please select the relevant option, stating whether or not you will be attending the evening meal.

We have no specific hotel deals, but there are a range of hotels options near to the conference venue and the evening meal venue. Some examples are shown below, but you can find more at Visit Liverpool or your usual hotel booking sites.

Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village

New hotel, located right next to the university. Paid parking in neighbouring multi-storey.

Hope Street Hotel

Located on Hope Street, approximately 10mins walk from the conference venue.

Premier Inn

There are a number of Premier Inns in the city centre. The one located next to Lime Street station is approximately 15mins walk from the conference venue.

Hilton Liverpool City Centre

Located right near the evening venue, approximately 25mins walk from the conference venue
