TMCS Human Library: Alvin Kuek

Alvin Kuek is the Co-Founder of the Mind Stretcher Education Group. As the Group CEO, he oversees a team of 480 professionals in 25 centres spread throughout Singapore. With a yearly intake of 14,000 students (enrolled in 22,000 courses), Mind Stretcher is the leading private education chain in Singapore. IE Singapore also featured it as a case study for the 2017 Global Business Challenge and SPRING Singapore for the SG50-SME Singapore's 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2015.

Given his vast experience in entrepreneurship, thought leadership and business operations, Alvin has been invited as a speaker/panelist/judge at the events of numerous universities (NTU, NUS, SMU), listed companies and various professional organizations. He has taught and mentored three Singapore President's Scholars and many other undergraduate scholars. In his professional capacity, he has given more than 350 seminars in the last 15 years. Before joining the education arena, Alvin was a Manager at Price Waterhouse (now PwC) and the CFO of two financial technology firms, one of which he helped list on the Singapore stock exchange.
