Join us for the day, the dinner or both! The venue is the Hall of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul at 35 Canning Street, North Melbourne, Victoria.
Opened by Cardinal Mykola Bychok, hear from a range of speakers, including Anna Krohn OAM, on how Christianity calls us to serve the common good. What is needed for the common good? Discussing the arts, technology, education, politics and more.
Registration and tea/coffee at 9.45am. Finishing at 4.30pm, with Vespers (Byzantine) in the Ukrainian Cathedral at 5pm.
Pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm, followed by a sit-down two-course dinner at 7pm with special guest speaker the Hon. Tony Abbott AC, addressing "Reflections on Australian History and Our Shared Commonwealth".
Tony Abbott's new book, "Australia: A History", will be available for purchase.
