TMC Presents: Music of Latin America
About this Event
From bossa to bachata, from ranchera to rumba, from Tejano to tango, the music of Latin America spans a wide variety of genres and cultural experiences. With musical roots in West & Central Africa, Spain, Portugal, and the Indigenous communities of Central & South America and the Caribbean islands, Latin music has a long and storied history — sometimes ugly, sometimes beautiful, and always worth learning more about.
The Tutti Music Collective presents a fall concert of Latin American music. Come be part of the joy and heartbreak, and maybe even join us for dancing at the end (or admire from your seats)!
All ages welcome. Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, and bathrooms available.
Free parking available in the lot at 0 Windsor St in Somerville, across the street from the building at 808 Windsor St.
