Get ready Geelong, we are bringing the goods this year for some long awaited colour education. Kyra and Ash from TKAY Studio will be joining the brilliant Jordan, owner of Mr Almeda in his new, beautiful space to showcase their signature colour techniques as seen on instagram.

Kyra & Ash started TKAY Studio together in 2018, combined they have almost 30 years experience in the hair industry. With an ego-free, no bullshit vibe, they are completely transparent about all things hair & business. With experience in working back stage at fashion weeks, entering national competitions such as Hair Expo & AHFA, working overseas & navigating a business partner split, a pandemic, no question is off limits!

Kyra & Ash are passionate about the all-round wellbeing of our minds & our bodies. They discuss openly the importance of mental health, self care, how we look after ourselves, our team & how this is implemented into team culture.

Along side Jordan, owner of Mr Almeda, has been in the hairdressing game for over 10 years. Coming from generations of hairdressers in the family, he knew he was meant to be behind the chair.

In June 2020 Jordan decided to take the leap and in the middle of a pandemic, open his first salon. Jordan wanted to create a warm and inviting space for like minded stylists to work from, who would learn from and inspire one another, and that he did. In such a short time, Jordan has already opened his second location!

There’s no challenge that would turn Jordan away, thriving on creating something amazing for whoever is sitting in his chair. Known for his poppy blondes and platinum locks, Jordan can’t wait to share with you all his tips and tricks to achieve his signature looks.

This class will be a Look 'n' Learn where all presenters will complete a model each, Colour & Styling from start to finish. This class will be intimate & an opportunity for open conversation where no question is off limits.

Arrive 9am for a 9:30am Start

Working Lunch Provided 12pm

Finish 3:30pm (ish)

What we will cover:

x3 Models (all done live)

Colour Techniques such as, Highlighting, Face Framing, Balayage, Tip Out, Glossing & Zone Toning.

Styling Techniques such as twisty blow wave, twisty tonging & of course, taking the perfect instagram photo/video!

We like to always have an open & chill vibe, we love sharing all our knowledge.
