This tournament uses ‘Season 2’ (2020) rules. The format is a standard 3-game resurrection tournament (with one giant difference!) with the same team roster to be used in every match with no injuries, deaths, raised players or player progression carrying over between games.
Prizes are up for grabs for the Overall Winner, 2nd place, 3rd place, Most Casualties, Most Touchdowns and Best Giant model**
**This must be painted by the participant him/herself, be fully painted and based and must be the model you are actually using in the tournament. There will be other awards up for grabs which will be revealed closer to the date…
Note that, with the exception of painting awards, all prizes will be distributed so that no one wins more than one - we like as many prize winners as possible!
Spot prizes will also be available throughout the day, mostly giant related!

Coaches have 1.15 million gold crowns to spend on buying players, Assistant Coaches, Cheerleaders, Apothecaries, Bloodweiser Kegs, Dedicated Fans and Rerolls.
All teams from the ‘Season 2’ rulebook and Teams of Legend PDF can be chosen from.
The following Special Rules are in effect:
Teams with the ‘Halfling Thimble Cup’ special rule may take Master Chefs for 100,000 gold pieces.
Teams with the ‘Bribery and Corruption’ special rule can buy 0-3 Bribes for 50,000 gold pieces. for the relevant teams.
Teams with the ‘Masters of Undeath’ special rule can gain a Zombie in a game in which they K*ll an opposing player (as per official rules) but the new zombie will not carry over into the next game(s); the same applies for Nurgle teams.
In addition to your 1.15m roster and skills, each team has a Sporting Giant! This player follows all the rules in Death Zone and cannot be given additional skills. The giant counts as 1 of your 16 rostered players.
No star players are allowed, but Tier 3 teams can hire a second Sporting Giant as part of their 1.15m budget for 350,000gc! (This giant can be one your starting 11 players)

Each team has a skill package to enhance their players. You may not assign more than one additional skill to any player. Coaches will have the following skills allowance for their team:
Tier 1: 5 primary skills
Tier 2: 6 primary skills
Tier 3: 7 primary skills
Tiers 1 and 2 may swap two primary skills for a secondary skill. Tier 3 may do this up to three times.
(Tiers are based on the 2020 rulebook unless re-assigned by an official errata)
There is a time limit for games so coaches are encouraged to play 4 minute turns to ensure games are completed. Any games other than game 1 that reach the time limit will have to be halted and the result at this point will be the final result of that game. Game 1 may be played into lunch only if both coaches agree this with the TO at the start of lunch.
The round 1 match will be randomly determined, with subsequent rounds being seeded based on tournament points.

09:30 – 10:00: Registration
• 10:00 – 12:15: Match 1
• 12:15– 12:45: Lunch
• 12:45 – 15:00: Match 2
• 15:15 - 17:30: Match 3
• 17:45: Awards

Tournament points are scored as follows for each match:
50 points for a win
20 point for a draw
0 points for a loss
Tiebreakers for those on equal points will be determined by Strength of Schedule, then net TD, then net Cas.

You need to bring:
Your team - it should be clear which model is which position/has which skill. Skill markers or rings are recommended.
Two copies of your roster (one for you and one for your opponent). Digital copies are fine too.
A pitch
Dice
Templates
A device with access to Tourplay

Tickets are £15 and are payable through PayPal to [email protected] (friends and family). Your entry fee will go towards prizes, entry gift and a donation to the venue for their hospitality.
For any questions regarding availability or rules, please ask on the event page or contact me directly.
We hope to see you there!
