This engaging workshop presented by Resilient Retreat introduces key concepts of resilience building to more effectively handle stress and trauma, adapt to change, and recover from setbacks with greater stability and ease. Participants will explore practical tools and a variety of practices to bolster everyday wellbeing.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the concepts of secondary traumatic stress, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and resilience.
- Learn simple, practical tools and perspectives to apply to daily life.
- Get to know Resilient Retreat, an evidence-based, no-cost community resource for ongoing support.

About Resilient Retreat
Resilient Retreat, a Florida-based non-profit since 2018, is an innovative approach to help those impacted by trauma and abuse. Free evidence-based programs are provided to heal the mind, body, and spirit on 84 acres of conservation land in Sarasota, FL. Resilient Retreat also offers a Kind Line (941-343-0039) to provide support for those who need help navigating their trauma. All members of the trauma-trained staff are available to offer a kind listening ear and assistance finding resources. Resilient Retreat also offers trainings on trauma and Compassion Fatigue on a sliding scale fee for organizations.
