The addiction crisis in America has reached a new boiling point. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports 107,622 drug deaths in 2021. Committed people – at all levels, from all walks of life – are rising to answer the call. Tipping the Pain Scale is a documentary film investigating our disappointing efforts to deal with addiction and follows six dynamic characters on their journey to find new, innovative, and often controversial solutions. It explores how individuals can make a difference and helps us think about our own roles and opportunities.
