Eddie Fields will present his new book; "Tip of the Sword: A History of the Pioneers, Patriots & Preachers of Sinking Creek Baptist Church & Watauga River Settlement"
This book explores the founding of America's first independent government in present day Elizabethton, Tn and the first Baptist Church in Tennessee. The history is an eye-opening look at the history of the Watauga Settlement and the Watauga Association, one of America's first settlements to write a territorial constitution.
