Tio Lucho’s is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a one-night-only dinner that combines Chef Arnaldo’s coastal Peruvian cooking with the opportunity to make a real impact on Wednesday September 24. Guests will enjoy three savory courses and a sweet finish all served family-style and introduced by Chef Arnaldo himself. Between courses the Make a Miracle team will share stories about the life-changing work their support enables in Peru and Colombia. The evening begins with bowls of crunchy fried cancha corn on the table followed by flavorful canapés including pallares (Lima bean fritter with chicha gastrique and smoked salmon roe) tortitas (corn fritters with crab salad and chalaca) and causa de pollo (whipped potato topped with savory chicken salad). The second course served family-style features the fan-favorite Tio’s Salad a vibrant mix of artisan greens quinoa aji dulce apples tomatoes feta and rocoto vinaigrette. For the main course guests will share Seco de Res tender braised beef accompanied by tacu tacu salsa criolla and huancaina. The evening ends with an individual blackberry lime tart with chantilly and mango a refreshing and sweet finish. In addition to a memorable menu the night includes a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting Make a Miracle. Tickets are $125 and include food tax and gratuity. Drinks sold separately.
