Tiny Tinkerers

Ages 3 to 6 - a parent or guardian will be expected to assist their child with the activities

A once-a-month 90-minute class based on one to two STEM-adjacent books. Classes will include one to three activities or demonstrations meant to foster creative thinking in a specific STEM subject. AmeriCorps will be using Storybook STEM resources to help set up this class.

The first class will be "Growing Green Thumbs" where students will listen to "Farmer Allen and the Growing Table" and "Growing Vegetable Soup." Students will learn the parts of the seed, discover vermicomposting, paint a small pot, and plant a seed.
