Tiny Glass Tavern is a cross-genre music ensemble that offers tastes of different styles of music to curious audiences in an intimate concert setting. “Falling Asleep of Reason” offers an eclectic selection of music by Claudio Monteverdi, Connie Converse, Paul Holmes Morton, Fiona Gillespie, Adam Simon, Barbara Strozzi, and more.
Each of Tiny Glass Tavern's eclectic constellations of musicians brings their different expertise to perform early, folk, romantic, pop, and new music to their audiences. Those styles are programmed side by side and shine in contrast with each other.
With Tiny Glass Tavern, the joyful collaboration of artists includes the audience. Audience members are invited to experience the infinite musical repertoire from within via singing workshops exploring the specific concert repertoire on the week of the performance, pre-concert sings, and/or audience participation. Tiny Glass Tavern's concerts and workshops are a time to gather for a taste of something musical audiences may or may not know or like yet.
A community singing workshop will take place at 5 p.m., with the show to begin at 7 p.m.
