Fontaine is a San Francisco tintype photographer with a deep love for nostalgia. Drawn to the seemingly magical process and soul capturing outcome, she decided to teach herself tintype during the Covid lockdown. As the world has opened up, she is looking forward to doing pop-ups all around San Francisco.

About Pop-up

Wet Plate Collodion, also known as Tintype, is a photo process developed in the 1850s. The whole process takes about 15 minutes from start to finish, and ends with a unique photo on an aluminum plate! Customers will get a scanned digital copy the day of, and the photos will be mailed to them within a few days after having a protective varnish added to them.
