Bio:

Fontaine is a San Francisco tintype photographer with a deep love for nostalgia. Drawn to the seemingly magical process and soul capturing outcome, she decided to teach herself tintype during the Covid lockdown. She is often doing pop-ups around San Francisco or can accomodate appoinments in her private studio in the Lower Haight.

About Pop-up

Wet Plate Collodion, also known as Tintype, is a photo process developed in the 1850s. The whole process takes about 15 minutes from start to finish, and ends with a unique photo on a 3.5"x4.5" aluminum plate! Customers will get a scanned digital copy the day of, and the photos will be mailed to them within a few days after having a protective varnish added to them.
