To celebrate the release of their debut album, Down In The Dirt, Adelaide's Tin Town play a very special full band show at the Wheatsheaf Hotel, Thebarton. Gather your friends for a unique live music experience in the heart of Adelaide with special guest - Ryan Martin John. Tin Town is the new collaboration between seasoned Australian artists Courtney Robb and Snooks La Vie. As a wife-and-husband duo, they deliver grounded, folk-country melodies and unfiltered storytelling. Their songs feel vulnerable but intentional – the kind of music that doesn’t need to raise its voice to be heard. Robb’s vocals are arresting in their honesty, textured and expressive, carrying the weight of the lyrics without overselling them. La Vie’s harmonica is a vital thread in the Tin Town sound - melancholic one minute, cutting the next - adding colour and character in all the right places. It gives their songs a sense of movement and mood that lingers long after the final note. Joined on stage by world-class musicians Tom Kneebone (guitar), BJ Barker (drums), Lyndon Gray (bass) and Graeme Hollis (Hammond), prepare yourself to be transported to somewhere unforgettable.
Ryan Martin John is an Adelaide-based Australian singer-songwriter, folk musician, and award-winning recording engineer known for his folk and country-inspired music, which draws on influences from artists like Gillian Welch and The Byrds. He is the writer and producer of his own music, including his 2023 debut album Goodness, Gracious, Graceless, and has received nominations for his songwriting and engineering work.
