* RESCHEDULED DATE * INCLUDES ENTRY TO OUR 4 HOUR CLUB SESSION *Computer World Synthpop Club is proud to welcome Tin Gun to The Lawns in Taunton, where they'll perform a full live set during our club session on Saturday 25 November 2023.
Tin Gun is an electronic band producing a variety of edgy alternative electronic music that tells a story within each song about the daily conflicts people face.

Tim Dorney – keyboards, bass, vocals (Flowered Up / Republica)
Mark Trueman – keyboards and vocals (Sinestar / Mesh)
Having recently contributed cover versions to tribute albums to, respectively, the late Andrew Fletcher of Depeche Mode ('I Feel You'), and The Psychedelic Furs ('Mr Jones'), Tin Gun are now working toward the completion of their debut studio album, and still finding time to release singles 'Devils & Angels', 'We Are Not Your Enemy', and the 'Reanimation' EP. With a highly acclaimed support slot to Tiny Magnetic Pets under their belts, they now head to Computer World in Taunton for their very own full-set headline show, slap-bang in the middle of a five hour before, during and beyond the 80s synthpop club night.
Timings (approximate):
Doors - 7.30pm
Club session part 1 - 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Tin Gun - 9.30pm to 10.30pm
Club session part 2 - 10.30pm to 12.30am (close)
This is a primarily standing event, but limited seating is available. Should you require a seat, please send us a message to arrange immediately prior to booking.
The venue has an extremely limited number of car parking spaces on site (first come, first served, and the earlier the better - you will need to provide your registration number on your arrival at reception otherwise you may incur a penalty). Alternatively, ample spaces are available directly opposite, courtesy of the 24-hour High Street car park (which is usually free after 6pm, but check signage for confirmation).
For anyone needing to book accommodation, there are two hotels within a brisk 5 minute walk of the venue - The Taunton House Hotel, and The Corner House Hotel. Alternatively, there are two Premier Inn locations within a 5 minute taxi ride.
