Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in the past? To explore what life was like for the people living in Campbell River long ago? Each day we will dive into a different part of our North Island History. Campers will get to experience what it was like to make their own paints, learn about early logging and tree types, explore float house design, imagine life on a fishing boat, and discover the games and daily chores that children had in the past.
Field trips vary from week to week and may include: the Maritime Heritage Centre, Discovery Passage Aquarium, Discovery Pier, the Campbell River Art Gallery, Sybil Andrews Cottage, and the Haig-Brown Heritage House. Campers will also get the opportunity to explore areas of the exhibits and Museum not normally open to the public for an exclusive experience. Come travel through time with us!
