Discover the tools used to hunt giant creatures, such as the woolly mammoth and giant beaver! Museum-goers will discover which implements made surviving and thriving in CT’s ever-changing environment possible. Stone-Age tools and their modern-day counterparts also will be explored.
Artifact Display: This week’s display will showcase authentic stone tools and projectile points.
Admission to Nowashe Village always includes a multimedia self-guided tour on your personal electronic device, a look at a special Native American artifact and stationed docents ready to answer your questions. There are additional family fun and explorer activities for the kids.
