This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Time Fast, an award winning folk/americana singer/songwriter. Tim Fast, a native Minnesotan, brings a unique blend of soulful storytelling and musical craftsmanship to the American folk scene. With fourteen songwriting awards to his name, Tim has become a celebrated figure across the country, sharing his passion for authentic, heartfelt music at venues and festivals nationwide. Drawing inspiration from legends like The Beatles, John Prine, Neil Young, James Taylor, and Steve Goodman – Tim Fast blends traditional folk roots with contemporary narratives, creating songs that resonate deeply with listeners of all backgrounds. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
