Unit B is proud to host a night of incredible musicianship for Tiho Dimitrov’s debut album release, “Sleepless Nights”. Tiho’s guitar playing, songcraft, a star studded band and a new album will make this evening a rich musical experience.Tiho is a multiple winner of the New Mexico Music Awards. He earned international recognition in Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival Competition, placing in the top 40 out of 2,500 bands from around the world. He has performed locally and regionally, including appearances with blues legend Guitar Shorty, the legendary saxophonist Bobby Keys, Grammy-winning guitar virtuoso, Larry Mitchell, Brian Hardgroove of Public Enemy, John Kurzweg, Ryan Montaňo, Soulman Sam, Alex Maryol, and Jono Manson, who also engineered and helped produce “Sleepless Nights”.
Tiho has toured and co-written with Grammy-winning Native American singer Star Nayea. Brant Leeper, a close friend and a Hammond electric organ veteran in the blues world, appears on all of Dimitrov’s songs, and co-produced a number of them. Tiho is one of the founding members of the Canyon Road Blues Jam, playing weekly at El Farol for almost a decade.
