DAY 1 :: NOV 30
Meeting at 11.00 in Bangladesh, Dhaka for a connecting flight to Paro, 13.10 - 14.40.
On a sunny day flight is marked with the panoramic views of the Himalayas including the Everest. The approach through the foothills and the landing (including few steep turns) at the tiny airstrip of Paro has been termed as adventurous, by many travelers.
Arrive to Paro in the afternoon, check in to hotel and first experience with Bhutanese cuisine.
Later in the day we start a short hike to Kuensel Phodrang (3-4kms). At the top of the hill is located the gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue.
Gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue located atop a hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park. The statute is around 50 meters high and is made of Bronze, glided with gold. The statue fulfills an ancient prophecy dating back to the 8th century A.D that was discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa - Religious Treasure Discoverer and is said to emanate an aura of peace and happiness to the entire world.
On the way visit National Memorial Chorten. Overnight in the hotel in Thimpu.
DAY 2 :: DEC 01
After breakfast start our hike to the Taktsang Monastery Tiger’s Nest. During the hike will be served picnic lunch among the woods with amazing view.
Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's nest), the abode of gods and monks situated at an altitude of 3100m on the Upper Paro Valley, Bhutan. As per the legend, Guru Padmasambhana (Guru Rinpoche), the tantrum mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan, came in the form of Dorje Droloe riding a flying tigress to subdue the demon that was obstructing the spread of Buddhism in the Himalayas.

DAY 3 :: DEC 02
After breakfast and formalities short drive to the Paro, begin hike to Tashigang Goenpa Monastery (3,560 m) gradual uphill climb of about 2 hours to 18th century Lungchutse Lhakhang. The picturesque route passes through primary forests of rhododendrons, magnolias, birches, firs, hemlocks and bamboos, and occasionally meadows that are being used as yak pastures. The view from Lungchutse Lhakhang over the entire Bhutan Himalaya and its snow covered peaks is amazing. We will then walk downhill for about an hour until we reach Dochula Pass (3,150 m) with several landmarks and stupas.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant, overnight in Paro.
Late afternoon we will have opportunity to be a witness of traditional rural life in a Bhutanese village. Optional for those who wants more experience a traditional hot stone bath.
You may also choose to spend a night in the village (or hotel in Paro).
DAY 4 :: DEC 03
Souvenir shopping, before departure to Kathmandu for a flight 07.30-08.30. Bye bye Bhutan!
Level of difficulty: Easy - short but steep trails. The grade may be perceived as moderate to beginners.
Activities: hiking, walking, sightseeing and getting amazed!
Altitude: 2280 – 3600 masl

Comfy 3* hotels in Paro and Thimpu, double sharing rooms. Single occupancy 150 USD extra.
